Members of the art rock band Viatr looking up into a mirror reflection

A capricious sonic adventure, where subtle arrangements are blended with turbulent textures. Boisterous yet gentle, Viatr’s art rock songs blend elements of rock, jazz and classical music with experimental sounds.

Coming from four different countries, this London-based 4-piece absorbs eclectic music of acts like Radiohead, Ludovico Einaudi and Bon Iver and creates their own enigmatic sonic landscape.

The band name is duly taken from the Polish word for wind - whispering soft textural melancholy that can suddenly morph into riff-driven energy. Retrospective lyrics, often odd time signatures and intricate arrangements give rise to the band’s message of embracing inner fears and exploring the ever-changing human nature.
